ABOUT US

What We Do

 

The Western Idaho Community Crisis Center offers a safe and inclusive environment that supports those experiencing mental health and/or substance use crises by providing:

Immediate, compassionate care.

Resources to promote recovery.

First steps to stability.

​

We welcome all individuals seeking a safe environment where they can receive support in addressing their mental health and/or substance use needs.​ Clients may stay at the center for up to 23 hours and 59 in one episode of care and at no cost to the client. During that time services will include:

  • Medical screening

  • Behavioral health assessment

  • Risk assessment

  • Solution-focused counseling

  • Case management

  • Peer support

  • Support to find needed community resources like food, a safe place to stay, or medical care

Who We Serve

People ages 18+

Those experiencing a behavioral health crisis and/or substance use and addiction

Individuals who need resources for:

  • Housing

  • Financial assistance

  • Basic living needs

  • Outpatient, medical, mental health, and referrals to higher levels of care

  • Transportation

  • General support

No referral is needed.

Walk-in anytime by yourself or with family or friends.
